Nicholas Sparks Books: Part One
The Man has Written So. Many. Books.

I don’t know about you, but I have been a loyal reader of Nicholas Sparks since I first read ‘A Walk to Remember’ about twenty years ago. I have read all of his work, with the exception of ‘Three Weeks with my Brother’ (his non-fiction work) and ‘Remain’ (his newest release with M. Night Shyamalan).
On my 2026 Bingo Card, I put that I want to own all 26 of his book again. Over the years, with moves and downsizing for our bus, my collection dwindled down to zero. So far, I have found seventeen books, all second hand. The nine remaining have proven to be difficult to find for some reason, but I will not give up until I find them all. (May need to expand my search to other thrift stores.)
I understand romance is not everyone’s cup of tea. Maybe you believe that Nicholas Sparks’ books are ‘sappy’ or ‘full of *cough* intimate scenes,’ but they are so much more than that! The story behind each character; how it all ties together in the end; the sweetness he brings to the ‘bedroom’ scenes,’ (which he doesn’t overtly describe or dwell on.) It’s about the relationships and the emotions and giving you multiple points of views as you read.
I wanted to share a short blurb on each of his books. If your interest is peaked, then you can go get your first Nicholas Sparks book! With his catalogue so extensive, I will be doing this in two parts, this part being his early years and including his first seventeen published works. He basically wrote a book year (sometimes two!!) early on in his career. So have a quick look and if you’re intrigued, click the title of the book to read more. The links will be to the Paperback edition, but you can change to the format you prefer before buying.
